Maui Whale Watching Tours

Check-in and boat departure is at Ma'alaea Harbor, which is conveniently located in Central Maui and is Maui's primary harbor. It is about 10-20 minutes from Kihei, 25-30 minutes from Wailea, 30 minutes from Kaanapali, or 40 minutes from Kapalua.

The primary large parking lot, in front of the Maui Ocean Center, is administered by a third party and is paid parking (~$2/hr, subject to change), or free for Maui residents with mobile registration.

If coming from a cruise ship docked in Kahului, it's only 15 minutes away. Transport is not provided, so you would need to take a taxi/Uber/Lyft or rent a car. Note: If your ship schedule changes and you cannot make your booked tour or reschedule, cruise ship passengers would still receive a refund even if it's within the normal 48-hour non-cancellation period. TIP: Those on the weekly Pride of America cruise ship can check out all our top excursions here.

For those more mobility challenged, the best boat would be the double-decker used for the snorkel cruise. Please note that the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible, and no electric scooters.

For the other tours/boats, no wheelchairs (even collapsible), although a walker would be fine for the Small Group cruise. 

For all tours, guests have to be able to walk down a few steps onto the boat or be helped by people in their party.
